

Yes, this is a 4 channel DVR recorder for surveillance purposes. Sorry if I was not sufficiently specific. On that machine, the video displays just fine, and I have tried it from other windows machines as well.

I have done this in WIndows control panel, as well as in VMWare settings.Īs long as this does not work, I am not able to contact my DVR either locally nor remote, except when I fire up my old PC with windows XP. VMWare has it's own driver, which I cannot do much about, can I? I have tried to fiddle with display driver settings, hardware acceleration and so on - so far no change. I have come so far as to understand that this is a video driver/display problem. Other than that, I can log in, use all the controls, access the settings and all that. It will seem to play video, either live or playback, except the screen is black where the video should have been. Has to run under Internet Explorer, and only under windows. I have a 4-channel DVR, using DVROCX.OCX, an IE8 activeX component for windows only.
